Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, could not hold back his tears as he joined other Ghanaians at the one week memorial service held for the late musician, Ebony.

The event, which took place at the St Martin de Porres School at Dansoman in Accra, attracted several dignitaries including ministers, actors and musicians.

Shatta Wale, while at the venue for the event, is reported to have stated that God would punish all those who showed hatred to Ebony during her lifetime.

Ebony was involved in an accident on Thursday, February 8, 2018, that claimed also the lives of two others, Franky Kuri, her Personal Assistant and Lance Corporal Vondee, a military man.

The driver of the Jeep in which they were traveling is currently recuperating at the Bechem Government Hospital.

A few days after this incident, a man of God, Prophet E.K Mensah of the Christ Vision Prayer Ministry, allegedly predicted that Shatta Wale would die by July 2008, if he failed to turn over a new leaf.

This comment reportedly infuriated the dancehall musician, as well as his family and friend.

His mother Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, reportedly threatened to sue all prophets who would declare that her son would die soon.

Everybody had fun at this year’s S Concert which took place at Ohene Djan Sports Stadium on December 1 but one man who “probably” didn’t have fun was Shatta Wale’s Bodyguard.

Shatta Wale who performed at the S-Concert slapped his bodyguard for trying to protect him from his “over-excited” fan who climbed on to the stage to touch his leg.

The Bodyguard’s Mask fell off after the BiG slap…he jumped off stage few minutes after receiving the slap.

‘I’ll continue to serve Shatta Wale’ – slapped bodyguard speaks!

The bodyguard who got slapped by Shatta Wale, Biggie Sparta has spoken about the slap he received from the SM Boss during the S Concert.

According to the bodyguard, people will not understand the love he has for Shatta Wale and that even if he slaps him severally, he will continue to be loyal to Shatta Wale.

He indicated that he will be with Shatta Wale until his life is over and he will never sell out his boss saying “if Shatta Wale has slapped me is it your ears?”.

He indicated that it was just a stunt to give bloggers and the entire country something to talk about and they have achieved their aim.

Shatta Wale slapped Biggie Sparta while he was performing on the S Concert stage on Friday. The slap generated loads of discussions with people calling for an apology for the bodyguard from Shatta Wale.

Popular Nigerian dancehall artiste, Patoranking, has arrived in Ghana amid Shatta Wale’s rants and verbal attacks.

Shatta Wale who fueled the ‘beef’ between him and some Nigerian artistes last week on his social media handles released a tune titled “Patoranking”, on which he ‘dissed’ Patoranking and Timaya on this same song which was produced by himself.

The ‘Taking Over’ hit-marker also threatened Patoranking, WizKid and Timaya with a gun in a video that went viral on Facebook over the weekend.

Regardless of the verbal attacks, warning, threats and social media rants of Shatta Wale, Patoranking who just released his new single ‘Available’ arrived in Ghana to record and shoot a video of the new song Ghanaian dancehall sensation MzVee featured on.

Patoranking announced his presence in Ghana on his official Facebook wall with the caption Ghana Sunday with @mastergarzy #Available

The Zimbabwean dancehall Igwe, Winky D has been nominated for an international award. Winky D was nominated for the Best Reggae Dancehall Artist award alongside other African dancehall acts, Shatta Wale, Patoranking, Burnaboy and Bebe Cool.

The annual African Entertainment Awards are hosted in Toronto, Canada to celebrate the African-Canadian Culture.

This years event will be held on the 21st of October.

To vote you simply need to visit the AEAC website: aeawards.ca/nominees.html and click on your favorite artist in each category. There are about sixteen sub-categories in the International Category that Winky D and others are nominated in. If you just want to vote for this just scroll to the end.

Other African dancehall artists to note who are also nominated for the awards are Ghanaian Stonebwoy and MzVee.

So what are you waiting for head over and vote, spread the word!

BullDog, former manager of Shatta Wale claims the latter is in “pain” as a result of his inability to snag a Black Entertainment Television (BET) awards nomination in spite of his popularity.

He told KOD on The Zone on Starr 103.5 FM, Wale’s attempt to rubbish the awards scheme is borne out of pain.

“I think for me it is pain that is making him do that and it is wrong. And that’s my problem with Artistes down here, if you look at Nigeria they are all supportive of each other and it is sad that we had just a slot at the BET but whoever it is we should be able to support everyone even if it was him Shatta Wale we all support him and same should be extended to Stonebwoy and nobody should hate, and say that because someone didn’t do something or because they have issues with the person they will be writing all sorts of things about the person, it’s not the best.”

Wale and his fan base believe his inability to get a BET Awards nomination is a result of sabotage by some personalities in the Ghanaian music industry.

Moments after he failed to get a nomination this year, he tried to rubbished the awards scheme via his posts on Social Media.

“My B. E.C.E certificate sef ano know where edeh..Then we deh come worry about BET… Money deh call me for my brain… ” read one of his posts.
